Workshop Training Sessions

• Conduct an energy analysis of your home
• Identify your biggest energy cost drains
• Receive recommendations about how to lower costs in ways that fit your lifestyle.

Day 1: In one evening, learn how to collect your household energy usage data. You will leave with worksheets and tools to help you accomplish this. Discussion includes:

• Electrical loads
• Phantom loads
• Heating loads
• Hot water usage
• Insulation
• Home Heating Index

Homework: Conduct your home energy audit in time for Day 2.

Day 2: Your energy audit will be tabulated and handed back to you. We will:

• Review your data
• Identify discrepancies and gaps
• Learn how to correct and fine tune the input

Homework: Fine tune the data and prove the inputs in time for Day 3 .

Day 3: Receive final analysis and customized Stepping Up Green recommendations. You will receive:

• Current and potential EPA home energy score
• Individual Stepping Up Green path to higher home energy performance
• Home heating analysis and score
• Hot water usage results
• Electrical load results for each appliance

Fee: $185. Includes all materials. Class size is limited to 6 people.
